This month, Emma spoke with CBC on two occasions to add to the difficult yet critical conservations surrounding the implications of Hurricane Fiona, its impact on the residents of Channel-Port Aux Basques, and the future of Newfoundland and Labrador coastal communities as a whole.

On March 24th, the following article was published alongside a radio documentary completed in Channel-Port Aux Basques. Emma was interviewed separately and some of her comments were included at the end of the written article.
