Fundamental Inc. was contracted by the Town of Bauline to conduct a corporate GHG emissions inventory for the Town and undertake a strategic analysis and feasibility study for a 100% on-site renewable energy system which would connect with the NF Power Net Metering program.
The result of the data analysis and Town engagement was recommendation of a renewable energy micro-grid consisting of 65kW of solar and 20kW of wind, with battery based energy storage. This system configuration achieves the Town’s sustainable and financial goals, and provides them with fossil fuel free solutions for their Community Centre building which functions also as their Town Hall and emergency warming station.
