Located in Twillingate, NL, Fundamental Inc. designed a net zero energy cabin.  The design included a high quality wall assembly, to minimize energy use, combined with an Infra-Red (IR) heating system.  The roof of the cabin and building orientation were specifically designed to maximize solar input potential.  Energy is provided through on site installation of a wind turbine and solar photovoltaics (PV) connected to the NF Power Net Metering program.
